One of the projects, which was realised in form of a book, we would like to introduce at this point.

Night stories – 17 illustrated stories for children

2007 the South Tyrolean publishing house Provinz-Verlag compiled together with 17 artists and authors from the “Abendkurs für Buchillustration” (“Evening Course for Book Illustration”) at the School of Arts in St. Ulrich, in charge of Sara Welponer and the lector Bruno Klammer, the illustrated children’s book “Abendgeschichten” (“Night Stories”) (264 pages).

The following authors have participated: Barbara Prinoth, Beate Pucher, Brigitte Demetz, Christine Walpoth, Daniela Pitzinger, Evelyn Großrubatscher, Guido Senoner, Irene Moroder, Katiuscia Morson, Lea Perathoner, Martina Comploi, Patrick Perathoner, Petra Seifart, Raissa Senoner, Renate Bauer, Savina Kostner, Verena Niederegger and Sara Welponer.

The book is full of content and illustrative surprises and is without doubt one of the best children’s books on the market. The promotion work of the autonomous region Trentino-South Tyrol impresses with its diversity of scantly outlined stories and with its delicately shaped picture cycles.

The ideal and inspiring gift book for children and something to think about for adults concerned with education.
